We are saddened to share that in the early morning hours of Friday, April 11, the LEX was broken into and vandalized. The damage incurred can be cleaned up and repaired, but this will take time. An investigation into this crime is underway, and we want to thank the Columbus Police Department for their prompt response to this matter.
While this is a frustrating development, we want to focus on celebrating the community excitement surrounding The LEX. Over the past week since the ribbon cutting, we have been overwhelmed with stories, kind words, and anticipation regarding what The LEX represents. We feel honored to be the stewards of this historic landmark, and we are working diligently to open this space so that every community member can experience the property's beauty.
