Digital collections in the archives

Through grant-funded projects, CIAA has digitized parts of its collection.

Explore materials related to the history of 301 Washington Street and the Irwin-Sweeney-Miller family through an online exhibit. The exhibit brings together collection materials held by CIAA, the Bartholomew County Public Library, and the Bartholomew County Historical Society. This project is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Indiana State Library.

A digitization project completed in partnership with the University Library at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis makes available materials related to Bartholomew County Hospital addition (Schmidt, Garden, & Erikson, 1967), Columbus Regional Hospital (Robert A.M. Stern Architects, 1992), Central Middle School (Perkins+Will, 2005), Mill Race Park (Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates and Stanley Saitowitz Office, 1992), Arvin Company Headquarters addition (Ratio Architects, 1989), and Columbus Learning Center (Kevin Kennon, 2005). To access the digitized collection, please go HERE. This project is made possible by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services.
