We offer services such as:
Booktalks
We will introduce your students to appealing books and offer them the opportunity to check out books in your classroom.
Research Help
We can instruct your students on the use of the Library’s resources and can assist with research and digital literacy.
Event Assistance
If you organize an event such as a writing workshop, author visit, or any other literacy-based program, we can offer our services and assistance to you and your students.
Classrooms can visit the Library for behind-the-scenes tours, research, and to check out materials.
Resource Demonstrations – Electronic or Technological
The Library has many electronic resources available for research, homework help, and other needs. We can demonstrate these to your classroom and teach students how to navigate them.
Information Programs
News and media literacy, “fake news,” and source vetting are just a few of the topics that we can partner with you to present on to your students. We are also happy to offer programs relating to current events or curriculum units by request.
Open house or Curriculum night visits
We can demonstrate Library resources and share information with parents, students and faculty at any open house event, by request. We can even do give out Digital Access Cards to your students or particpants.
Let us know if you want our Book Express or Bookmobile to come to your event!
