Welcome to the Community Partner activities page for the 2020 Summer Learning Program! Here you will find plenty of virtual activities to earn badges and points in order to level up and earn prizes. In order to register for the Summer Learning Challenge or to log your progress, click the link below.
Go green this summer! Complete the activity described in this document in order to earn the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Read badge and 100 points from the Bartholomew County Solid Waste District.
Read at least one book from the CAAC Recommending Reading List list in order to earn the Arch Your Imagination badge and 20 points.
Watch one or more of the following French language videos, or read the handout about 12 familiar French words, in order to earn the Columbus Indiana Accueil Badge, as well as 20 points per video or handout.

In order to earn the CYD Badge and 60 points for the Summer Learning Challenge, watch one of the Council for Youth Development's videos on their YouTube channel.
Especially recommended is the video "Show Me You Care." Then, after watching the video, please view one of the CYD's handouts about the 40 Developmental Assets.
Bike to School with Exhibit Columbus + Healthy Communities! To earn the Love Columbus Badge, and 60 points, do the following:
1. Watch the video Columbus Schools: Good Design and the Community (~15 minutes) to learn about the Cummins Foundation Architecture Program and its impact on our community's school buildings.
2. Bike to your favorite Columbus school building (maintaining a safe social distance).
3. Take a photo with your "I <3 Columbus" Coloring Page in front of the school and tell us what you like best about the building. Share your photo on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter with the hashtags #ExhibitColumbus and #BCPLSummerLearning.
Watch at least two of the Spanish storytime videos posted on the Family School Partners' Facebook page in order to earn the Spanish Storytime Badge.

Complete the following activities to earn the Chalk and Costume badges:
1. Create sidewalk chalk art with a positive message, and share photos of it on social media.
2. Make a costume, using things you have at home, to dress up as your favorite book character.
Visit the kidscommons YouTube channel and watch one of their videos to earn the kidscommons badge! New videos premiere every Friday.
