We are live!   We have moved to a new system called Polaris, and have updated our site to use its catalog and account features.  

We’re undergoing a system upgrade! We’re making it easier to browse our catalog, find new materials, and modernize our system. We’re excited to offer a more intuitive user experience for our patrons. This system upgrade will make it easier than ever to find what you’re looking for and to discover new things along the way! 

Here are some dates to keep in mind:

-Last day to make Interlibrary loan (ILL) requests:  April 2nd.  We will resume accepting interlibrary loan requests on May 7.     

-Last day to place holds on physical items.  April 18th. 

-Last day to use our online application form for a library card:  April 26th

-Last day to self-pay account bills/fees online: April 29th  

-Last day library staff can check in physical items: May 3rd 

-We will be in limited services mode from May 5 to May 13th.  During this period:  

• We cannot check in physical items during this time. We strongly encourage you to not return items during this time. No items will be due during this time and we do not charge overdue fees. 
• You must have your library card to check out.  We will not be able to look you up without your card number.  
• Physical item availability may not be up-to-date in our current catalog.  We recommend contacting the library if you want to confirm an item is on the shelf. 
• No one's cards will expire during this time. 
• We will not be able to create new card accounts.
• We will not be able to look up your account PIN.
• We can't take any payments for bills/fees on your library account.  
• No checkouts of video games will be allowed.  

 -We will switch to the new system May 14th.  We will be closed to the public May 14th, as we work on catching up and preparing our staff for re-opening.   

-Re-open to the public: May 15th.  Everything back to normal!  

Some other things to note:

• Because we'll need to "freeze" our catalog for over a month prior to the new system launch, new physical releases in April and May won't be added until after we're back online with the new system in mid-May.  Rest assured they will be ordered, but there will be a delay.     
• The digital library will be unaffected. There will be no restrictions on access to downloadable eBooks and e-audio (Libby/Overdrive, Hoopla) at any point.
